Here is a tip to share with
Tammy's Kitchen Tip TuesdayWhat I do to make my cheese grate better is to put it in the freezer for about 15 minutes. I always hated grating cheese because it was too soft and would smear all over the grater, but if it is really cold it grates fast and easy.

I'm going to try this next time I have cheese to grate! I think freezing things just a little makes them much easier to work with. I brought home chicken cutlets today. After two hours in the freezer, they were just 'stiff' enough to be easily trimmed and sliced.
I bet having the cheese cold also makes the grater a lot easier to clean!

I'm sorry, I don't know why that went in twice!
Great idea...never thought of that, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comment on my blog! This is a great idea!! I LOVE cheese and am constantly grating it and getting annoyed with the cheese smears that are hard to wash off of the grater. :) I'll be trying this!
We live in Northern GA...what about you?
Neat tip... I'll have to keep that in mind... :)
