I am not a Feminist at all!!!

You Are 0% Feminist

You are definitely not a feminist. In fact, you are every feminist's worst nightmare.
You believe that women belong in the kitchen.... barefoot and pregnant.

Wow that is crazy, but I agree I am against feminism in all areas.

It has been so busy lately!!!!

As always the month of December is so busy. We had so much to do from shopping, cooking, cleaning and of course spending time with family. We had a wonderful Christmas and 3 whole days spent with my husband without him having to work. Which reminds me there is a chance that he will get a promotion and we may have to move out of state. That will be difficult since I have lived in Georgia all my life. Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God bless everyone.

God had his hand on us!!!!

I just want to share that last Friday the kids and I were own our way the the grocery store driving down the road and for some reason I looked down at the speedometer and as I looked up there was a car in front of us stopped. I came inches of hitting this car but swerved off the side of the road and made it around the car. As I drove by the place today, I do not see how we came out of that without being in an accident, but I do know God had his angels protecting us. The place where we swerved was nothing more than a foot of flat land and then a steep cliff. Thank you God for your protection and covering over my children and I.

Getting ready for Thanksgiving!!!

As everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving, I hope you remember and are grateful for what you have. There is a family in my church who one year ago lost there 4 year old daughter to kidney failure. It was exactly one year today that I was hospitalized, because my fallopian tube busted and I was internally bleeding. I almost died on the table but God gave me another chance at last. Yesterday my cousin's son Nathaniel would have been 8 but he passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2001 at the young age of 18 months. It was the worse day of mine and my families life. I got to watch that sweet boy enter the world. He was 8 weeks early and weighed 4 pounds and 9 ounces and was 16 inches long. He was doing so well but his immune system was weak and he got any kind of virus that went around. He seemed so healthy the few weeks before it happened in fact 2 weeks earlier at a family Easter gathering he was running around without having an asthma attack. But we know he is in heaven and probably playing with my 3 babies up there.
The good news though is Nathaniel's mommy(Felicia) found out she was pregnant yesterday. She has Austin(11) and after Nathaniel was born Her husband got a vasectomy. She got a divorce because her ex husband was physically and emotionally abusive. Now she is happily remarried to a very nice Christian man and treats her like a queen. I am so happy for her and I hope that things will work out.
On another note my dear sweet husband is helping me cook. We are doing 2 turkeys this year. He is the best. Today I cooked lentil soup which I got from Sara Snow. It was delicious and the kids loved it!!! I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!!! (This is the Christmas picture from last year. I will post the new one once it is taken).

Cleaning out clutter!!!

I have been so busy cleaning out clutter. My basement is horrific. There is so much stuff in this house it is ridiculous. We are having a yard sale tomorrow and I would love to get rid of 75% of our stuff. Some of you may think that is a lot but if you only seen how much we had, you would agree. Plus we need the extra cash for Christmas. Well I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Car shopping

I spent all day yesterday car shopping. We almost bought a 2001 Dodge Dakota truck, but it was going to be $400 for 51 months. The thought of that made me sick. That is over 4 years of paying on a vehicle that is not even new not to mention in the end we will be paying double what it is worth. Yuck!!! After a long frustrating day, My husband's assistant Manager said that he would sell us his car and let us make payments to him until Feb. when my husband gets a bonus. That is so much more relieving. This has just been a frustrating week with a lot of financial situations. Anyone reading this please pray for our family!!!

Frugal Friday!!!

Today has been a super day. I went to Kroger and got 2 gallons of organic milk for $2.99 each(reg $5.99) and Yo Baby yogurt for Haley for $1.29(reg $3.69). At Food Lion I got 8 bags of organic carrots for $.49 each (reg $2.69). We then went to k-mart and got 3 flower pots for $.70(regular $6.99 each) and one for $1.00(regular $9.99). So we got a lot of good deals. My honey is back home and we have had s good day together because he is rarely off.

It is still raining!!!

Can you believe it is still raining? Well that is a good thing except for the fact when it rains I get tired. I don't know what it is about rain that makes me so sleepy. I could sleep all day if I was able to. Anyways, the kids and I went and ate Japanese today. It is about 30 minutes away but it is worth it. We all 4 ate under $20. Their chicken is $5.95 each. Hannah and I shared a plate and Bryson and Haley shared. We ordered water to drink, so with the tip is was $18. Anyone who loves Japanese knows that if you go during dinner time you can pay $17-$25 a plate, so we got a good deal. While we were in town we went to the Whole Foods store, where I picked up some organic produce that was on sale. I also got Bryson some vitamins to help him focus, plus some dha for all three of the kids. We had a great day, but tonight it will be lonely without my man here. Well I am going to catch up on laundry. By the way the picture of the bookshelf is of all our schoolbooks(except Hannah's her books are in her desk) and my cookbooks. I was in desperation for one and found one at a resale shop. We had schoolbooks everywhere. Our Reading books are in the basement and the shelf is double the size of this one. I love it so much. I am proud of it and thought I would show it off.

It's raining again!!!:)

It has been raining the past two days, which is great. I am sad though because my husband is leaving tomorrow for Kentucky. He has to go help another store to get ready for his promotion in early 2008. I hate being here without him. I really don't want him to get promoted because he will be gone a lot. Of course we can go with him sometimes but I would rather him stay where he is. Yes of course he will be getting a big raise, but money is not everything. Oh I can't believe I just said that lol. Well he is the man so it is up to him, but I pray every night that things will change.

Super Saturday!!

There is a lot going on today. Bryson's last soccer game is at 10 followed by his banquet at the local Mexican restraunt. Then Hannah has got a birthday party to go to followed by a practice at church for children's choir, because tomorrow is homecoming at our church. Plus my mom is coming down from South Carolina, I haven't seen her since August since my sister's wedding. She is moving down here in December, She really needs prayer because she is going through a nasty divorce. On top of all that the house is a wreck so I have got a busy weekend ahead. I went to Kroger last night and got $220 worth of groceries for $125. They over charged me for bacon bits so I got them free. I love Kroger because of their scan right promise and plus they double coupons up to $.50. Thursday I bought Bryson a pirate book for Christmas. It was suppose to be 11.24 and it rung up for 14.99 so I got it free. Always look at your receipt most groceries stores and I think even wal-mart has that promise. I always get something free when I go grocery shopping.

Rainy rainy day!!!

We got rain. That is great since Georgia is in such a drought. I started taking the pills tuesday and I do believe they are working. Even though I haven't started yet, I am getting all the sign cramps mood swings and everything else that goes along with that. Today I babysat for a friend. Her kids are the same age as mine. Kate is 4 and exactly one month older than Bryson and Drew is 2 and exactly one month older than Haley. The other weird thing is we always end up pregnant together. Last fall when I had the tubal pregnancy she was pregnant and carried the baby to I think 16 weeks and he died in utero. Then when I had a pregnancy in May(chemical pregnancy)
she got pregnant and it ended up with a late miscarriage at 12 weeks. She wants another baby too. We use the same doctor and she has some kind of disorder where she is lacking vitamin b6 and folic acid, Plus she can't ever take birth control because it can cause a blood clot, so she has to take aspirin everyday. Anyways her children are so sweet my kids just love playing with them. So when they're here it is like having 5 kids and I just love it. I hope God gives me at least 3 or 4 more.

Great!!!

I went to the doctor and everything came back normal. She said I haven't had a period because of the weight gain. So she gave me some medicine to jump start my period and if I don't have another one in 3 months take a pregnancy test and if it negative take the medicine again. If a person goes a while without a period it can cause uterine cancer. She believes if I lose weight and get my period straightened out then I will get pregnant. So that is wonderful news!!!!:)

Busy Monday

Today has been really busy. We have got a ton of housework to do. Laundry is piled way up and my kitchen is an absolute mess. Hannah has got dance and while she is there we are going to go look for a book shelf because our school books are in crates and it is such a hassle looking for a certain book. Bryson has got a soccer game and tonight they are showing a new family on "kids by the dozen" Tomorrow is the big day when I will find out about my doctor's visit. Everyone keep me in your prayers.

Introduction

Hi my name is Delilah. I have the best husband and children in the world. I am a sahm and I homeschool my children. Hannah is doing well but there is a struggle with Bryson. He is very smart, but his mind is too busy thinking about playing. He is obsessed with pirates. He loves dressing up as one and playing with his many sets. Hannah loves school, but I do have to stay on her because she is easily distracted. I am doing a little with Haley whenever she asks to "play school". I want more children but ever since I had an Iud and it caused me to have 2 tubal pregnancies, I have had problems. I went to the doctor Monday and she is doing a full panel blood test because I haven't had a period in 2 months. She seems to think I have a thyroid condition or pcos(I pray I don't). Everyone keep me in your prayers I believe God will bless us with a baby when he is ready.
