God is so Great!!!

It has been over a year since I had my last tubal pregnancy. This past year has been so rough. My hormones have been crazy. I have had irregular periods and have gained about 40 pounds. I have desperately wanted a baby and everyone around me has gotten pregnant, and even though I am excited for them, it really upset me a lot. I have prayed that God would give me peace and he has. I still want a baby but I realize he is in control as whether or not I have another one. As far as my hormones go I have prayed about that as well. A few months ago I went to my doctor because I had not had a period in four months and she ran tests because she thought I had pcos, but thankfully all the test came back negative. Thank you Jesus. She gave me a drug to jump start my period because it is dangerous not to have one. So about 2 weeks ago I went to an herbalist and she put me on a daily vitamin and two herbs called maca and cortisil. Usually my periods would come every 7 weeks. Well I had a period on Dec 20 and guess what this month I started on the 26th. Thank you Jesus I give you all the credit and glory. Not only have my periods straightened out but I have lost 5 pounds as well. I know all things will work out for the good if I put all my trust in him. God Bless, Delilah

cvs this week!!!

The first trip I made to Cvs as pictured above, I got $214.56 for $34.04 out of pocket and got back $35.00 in Ecbs. The second trip I got $122.45 for $2.90 out of pocket and got back $16.99 in Ecbs. I am finally catching on and it so fun. My husband is in amazement over all the good deals I am getting. I got make-up in the second trip it was marked down 75% off plus I had a coupon. I got it for grandma because it looked like her skin color, so I called her today to tell her and she said she was out and she had been praying for God to help her find a good deal. It is amazing how God always supplies our needs if we trust in him. I had no idea she needed make-up and that was the only color marked down in that particular brand and kind of make-up. I hope you get encouraged by this post. For all of you coupon shoppers that live near an Ingles next week they are tripling their coupons up to $.50.

I am finally an Aunt!!! Welcome Ethan James in the world on January 3, 2007.

My sister had her baby Thursday. He was 5 weeks early. She called me at 7:30 that morning and said she was pouring blood. We went to the hospital and she was in labor. After 10 hours of labor Ethan was born at 5:08 pm weighing 4lbs 14.4 ounces and 18.5 inches long. I got to see him be born and that was the most amazing experiences I have ever seen. I was in so much pain when I had my children I don't remember much. He is doing well and should get to come home today.

~I wish I had gotten the coupon for 15/100 but I only had 2 4/20 and 1 2/10 my store lets me stack these. I had a ton of coupons and $27.00 in ecbs.
~I am new at cvs so this is pretty good for only my second trip.

It has been so busy lately!!!!

As always the month of December is so busy. We had so much to do from shopping, cooking, cleaning and of course spending time with family. We had a wonderful Christmas and 3 whole days spent with my husband without him having to work. Which reminds me there is a chance that he will get a promotion and we may have to move out of state. That will be difficult since I have lived in Georgia all my life. Well I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God bless everyone.

God had his hand on us!!!!

I just want to share that last Friday the kids and I were own our way the the grocery store driving down the road and for some reason I looked down at the speedometer and as I looked up there was a car in front of us stopped. I came inches of hitting this car but swerved off the side of the road and made it around the car. As I drove by the place today, I do not see how we came out of that without being in an accident, but I do know God had his angels protecting us. The place where we swerved was nothing more than a foot of flat land and then a steep cliff. Thank you God for your protection and covering over my children and I.

Getting ready for Thanksgiving!!!

As everyone is getting ready for Thanksgiving, I hope you remember and are grateful for what you have. There is a family in my church who one year ago lost there 4 year old daughter to kidney failure. It was exactly one year today that I was hospitalized, because my fallopian tube busted and I was internally bleeding. I almost died on the table but God gave me another chance at last. Yesterday my cousin's son Nathaniel would have been 8 but he passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2001 at the young age of 18 months. It was the worse day of mine and my families life. I got to watch that sweet boy enter the world. He was 8 weeks early and weighed 4 pounds and 9 ounces and was 16 inches long. He was doing so well but his immune system was weak and he got any kind of virus that went around. He seemed so healthy the few weeks before it happened in fact 2 weeks earlier at a family Easter gathering he was running around without having an asthma attack. But we know he is in heaven and probably playing with my 3 babies up there.
The good news though is Nathaniel's mommy(Felicia) found out she was pregnant yesterday. She has Austin(11) and after Nathaniel was born Her husband got a vasectomy. She got a divorce because her ex husband was physically and emotionally abusive. Now she is happily remarried to a very nice Christian man and treats her like a queen. I am so happy for her and I hope that things will work out.
On another note my dear sweet husband is helping me cook. We are doing 2 turkeys this year. He is the best. Today I cooked lentil soup which I got from Sara Snow. It was delicious and the kids loved it!!! I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!!! (This is the Christmas picture from last year. I will post the new one once it is taken).
